Please let me know on the blue LED's I am looing forward to the change.
yes those are the ones.. but you can get the cheaper ones being that the 3smt ones dont make it any brighter and also the single led ones are cheaper.

Great post, got red in the dash of my 05 Willys. Gives it a really kewl look.

One question though... with the red LEDs the odometer looks extremely bright, and of course isn't red. Does anyone have any ideas to help change that?

Thanx

So wait, are you saying that I can get the cheapest ones, the ones that are $2.49, and they are still as good as the 3SMT. Or should I get the 2SMT? This website: http://www.v-leds.com/24-74-LED/Red-...orLanding/true

put it this way , the ones that are higher power and just one bulb on top will be way better then the one with the three bulbs that has two on the sides...

just to clear things up. the dash bulb number is 74. you will need 5 bulbs, 6 if you want to change your high beam indicator you can get whichever ones you want, single led, tri led, bajillion led. i personally think the tri led is brighter and better.

myrddin, those vleds you are looking at are sold in pairs, so the 6.99 ones are not that bad of a price.

i'm so tired of being tired, sure as night will follow day, most things i worry about, never happen anyway

I turned my under dash and domelights green.

I used the gel covers that go over the bulbs.

Thank you again for helping me out. I'm just having trouble answering the questions because and I'm not sure why. Either way I think you just made many peoples lives easier since you clarified what I had not. Thank you!

97tjdriver... (your post is great man)

what I get out of this is that all the bulbs fit so its just any bulb you want to pic... I will go with the 3 led deal I guess... not a big deal in the price. How many is needed to do the heater control? And should I do the high beams?

Also: where is the milage area? and with the change do you lose the rev limit area and all the other red marks on the dash? What does the high beam indicator look like?

about my mileage area, its still there just that picture i took with the jeep off and only the parking lamps on...
and yes its your choice which bulbs to get, it just preference. the heater controls i used two bulbs, one on each side. and about the rev limiter, what you see is exactly what i see.. you know where the end is anyhow. and the high beam i didn't notice any difference, as a matter of fact i didn't even know one bulb was for that..
