Just ordered all the stuff to do my TJ from V-LEDs. I used a coupon code COMMANDER15 and saved 15%. Hope that helps someone.

I also ordered a huge light for the overhead. I will let you guys know if it works.

Such a great thread. Perfect instructions. Was simple... other than putting four out of five bulbs in the wrong way.

And the bulbs inserting into the bases like Christmas tree lights... made me remember why I hate replacing bulbs on Christmas light strings!

Just installed the 36 LED overhead light. It took 2 minutes and looks really cool. Can't wait to see it at night. The only negative is that it does not bolt in place, I have it wedged in place now. Hopefully it won't bump around, or else I will have to get creative to mount it.

I've had 2 LED's go out on me - one in the upper left of the dash and one behind the A/C controls. I haven't had the time to go take apart anything to check them out, but the one behind the A/C controls sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Any ideas?

Are you sure? It would make everything a lot easier

I meant any ideas for when I check them if it's not obvious what is causing them to not light?

You now officially need to do a writeup on the HVAC, toggle switches, and the Dome light...or post a link to the writeup you used..I already did the dash LED's but it looks weird in red with everything else being that greenish stock color. Thanks.

so when you change the color of the gauges the needles change too? is there a way to do blue gauges with a red needle, or red gauges with a white/blue needle?

Is there a way to tint the superwhite leds to make the light a dark gray? My interiors all black with dark gray seats and I think having the gauges dark gray would set it off nice. Any ideas from specific paints to films to put over the lights?
