When I have used Sony head units in the past they would do that when using the regular speaker outputs, but not when using the pre-amp outs.

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.

Finally got around to taking a picture of the TJ dash lights. I just took the little bulb covers off the light bulbs. Blends in good with my tan dash.

Part of the steering wheel is covering it. You can really tell how much time I put into taking a picture of something lol.

I have a 99 TJ Manual shift ... there is a shift indicator light that is amber ... what bulb would I use to change that one out? Just trying to get a list together for when I get the money together... Thanks.

FYI, for people that are doing the a/c-heater controls and want them to look BLUE. DO NOT put blue LED's in, instead buy SUPER WHITE led's. Turns out the actual stock controls have a blue tint to them-- with the stock incandescent lights in they look green (because of the yellowish tint from the incondescent bulb and everyone knows yellow+blue=green). So, if you don't want your heater-red section to turn purple(from blue led's blue+red=purple)put super white leds in and everything looks REAL GOOD. red stays red and everything else goes blue

There's no way to remove the green film, but I did have great luck putting blue LED's behind my heater controls rather than white....

there is no green film, the controls 'LOOK' green because of the stock incandescent bulb they use(which have a yellowish tint to them)

just put in some super white LEDs and you will see what I mean. You can put blue LEDs in there but then your 'hot' portion of the controls will turn slightly purple

I would take a picture of the super white LEDs in my heater controls, but one of my LEDs went out- so i have one LED and 1 incandescent in there right now which makes it half green half blue lol
