G2 axle brake question

Hi everyone,

Quick question. Do the optional disc brakes that come with a G2 D44 assembly use the same brake pads as the stock TJ's that came with rear disc brakes?

Thanks in advance,

Mo

They do use the same brake pads that come on the TJ rear discs. You can also use the ones from a ZJ if you leave off the abutment clips the pads slide on.

The parking brake shoes though are from a Ford Explorer 8.8 but you can convert them to the ones from a TJ as long as you get the spring kit.

You could also use Ford Explorer rear disc calipers and brake pads with the abutment clips.
