Full Hard Doors = will YJ window frames fit TJs
The driver's side full hard door that I have for my TJ was purchased after being in a roll over accident. The upper portion that surrounds the glass when the glass is rolled up was bent beyond reasonable repair. I have access to the same portion of a YJ at little or no cost. Is that piece the same YJ to TJ? I know that the latches are in different spots from YJ to TJ, but the upper half looks very similar in pictures (the YJ is 45 miles away and not worth a drive-by).
Thanks,

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the TJ and YJ's winshield angles are different, therefore the YJ frames will not fit on a TJ without modification.

i saw a guy put a yj hard top on a tj, he had to trim a little off where the top meets the windshield, but only about 1/2 inch. i would say that if you have a bench grinder or dremel or something to trim it down with i would go for it. the angles can't be that far off, people say you can't do it, but i would go for it just to prove them wrong. anything is possible. what the heck... beats spending $300 on a set of TJ doors, but it's your choice
