Problem with which end? Driver's side?

If I remember correctly you'll need a pickle fork (aka ball joint seperator).

The type you put on an air hammer works best.

and don't forget to remove the pin and nut

I got it. I just whacked the s**t out of it with a 15 pound sledge. It did the job. Thanks though. Oh! The teraflex adjustable front trackbar is great. The tj rides 10 times better now.

whacking crap out of things is often the best thing to do. I removed one of a friends TJ and that is what we ended up doing...

How it goes down....

Had a similar problem with teh pitman arm. Two hours of beating on teh arm puller (broke one), many F*#ks and beers later it was still there!! Now its half-off and half on. I think its gonna stay there. Unless I find a better way to get it off.

Sorry if its off the trackbar subject, just feeling the pain with ya.

Quick Question

hey Guys
I just put my lift on a couple of weeks ago ,2" OME and 3/4" Teraflex spacers got about 4" of lift out of it , anyway I guess you all know that when you lift the track bar ends up short and this making the front axle alittle off, how important do you think it is to fix that? what are the downside to it being off a little

I am just trying to find out if I am going to hurt anything waiting untill after the holidays to buy an adjustable track bar

Thanks Brian

I don't think you will hurt anything. The ride is just going to suck.

I have a 3" Tereflex lift and drove it for over a year without doing anything to the front track bar. You won't hurt anything. But once I put the adjustable one on and centered the wheels it tracked straight when braking. Before it pulled to the left slightly while braking.

2000 TJ Sport, Lift, 33's, the usual....

You might be happy, and yours could be better than stock, but mine certainly wasn't. The Front adjustable has helped alot though, espesialy on bumpy roads full of pot holes. I am pretty sure that getting one would help you too.
