Exactly, its hard to find a part number for a part that isn't there.

I would have to say that a gasket seal for a D44 axle isn't a rare part at all.

They should be less inclined to rely on soley what their "system" reports for available parts of a given vehicle. This is probably a deficiency in their inventory system. (Ex. Part X from vehicle Y is an equivelant part for A on vehicle B, et cetera).

Your right. They should know every part of every vehicle and what vehicles they cross reference to off the tops of their head. Next time do your self a favor and use the internet to find the part number, it will make youe experience much more enjoyable.

That's not even what I was talking about. Way to (incorrectly) take my response incorrectly out of context and use it against me!

Their *system* should be able to cross reference, not the employee. It's already clear what my thoughts are on some of the employees.
