I got the pro comp rock crawler bumpers with d-rings for just under $300 for both shipped from 4wd. They are made from 3/16 plate steel and seem well made, I don't have any complaints, expecially for the price.

I bought the Smittybilt SRC front bumper and rear bumper/tire carrier for $400 off Craigslist. I used my front bumper to knock trees down two weeks ago, so I guess it works pretty good.

You get what you pay for

$500 is a little low for both front and rear.
You know what style you like? Find something you like and check ebay/craigslist often.
