Front End Clunking

For the past week I've had this "clunking" going on.
It's up front and only when I hit bumps. I can get on the front bumper and move the Jeep up and down with no noise.
All the bushings look fine and I just replaced the control arms.
See pics....
It's the only thing that doesn't look right to me.

Help?

check your anti-swaybar links. They tend to clunk if the bushings are shot. It is noticeable while going over bumps.

A front end clunk is very hard to diagnose over the internet, however, your main "clunk" culprits to check for would be:

Trackbar Trackbar Mounts
Swaybar links & bushings (This is my guess also)
Coil spring retainer clips
Upper and lower shock mounts
Control arm bushings
Control Arm Bolts

it could also be a loose shock mount. Those bar pins are crap and maybe they are lose. Give them a good check as well.

I had a clunk, mine turned out to be the sway bar links .. but that was already mentioned by someone.

has anything changed, like lift or anything? My passenger side endlink hits where the draglink meets the tierod. There is also so rubbing on the steering damper bracket. I only get the clunk over bumps.

I bet you $100 it's a sway bar link.

$30 @ napa.

Only hard part is getting the old one out of the sway bar. Use lots of PB blaster and a hammer.

Does it sound as if its coming from under your feet? Could be the transfer case linkage hitting the tub too. Advance Adapters make a bracket to fix it. I ordered one yesterday... Good luck!

New sway bars about 4 months ago. I'll take a better look once I get it home. Thanks for the help!
