Front bumper suggestions? What are YOU running?

Hey guys, I'm ditching the awful homemade winch bumper that came on my TJ when I bought it and looking for recommendations for a replacement.

I don't plan on re-mounting a winch, and I'd like something short and simple. I like some of the bumpers with the short hoop with light tabs. Definitely want d-ring mounts.

Looking to spend around $200 or so. Just wondering what everyone here is running and if anyone has any suggestions. Pics welcome.

In before the move to GD. I like the quality and simplicity of my LoD (USA made) bumper. $158. I also liked my more expensive Warn.

Love it but cannot find one at $158. Cheapest I've seen for the basic LOD bumper is $205. If I could find it at $158 I'd snap one up immediately.

I guess I should have bought the matching rear bumper. I bought it a month ago. Front was $158 and rear $189. Now they're $205 and $235.

I've got a SB "Classic" with D-rings. I think Quaratec has it for 169 now. I put some LED fogs in the angled portion.

Front bumper suggestions? What are YOU running?

I am running the Rancho. It was relatively inexpensive, has D rings, and is/was made in the US.

Pic is a few years old, back when bumper was fairly new.

Savvy Offroad aluminum bumper with a built-in winch mounting plate. Not cheap but worth it. That rope looks new because that pic was taken the day I installed it 3-4 years ago.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

I was running a Warn rock crawler bumper... I didnt mind it, except the powder coating chipped off.

Currently running a Smittybilt... and I actually like it more than the Warn so far.

Interesting. Why do you prefer the S-built? I would have expected the Warn to be rather superior build quality.

It has better powder coat, didnt have stupid 'W's cut into it, and it was a little 'stubby-er.'

My first, but not the last, attempt at making a front bumper. 1/4" steel, cost about $40, and I tried to copy the general shape of the Savvy bumper that Jerry has. Might make a different one, or at least grind the welds off this one eventually, but so far so good
