Front bumper spray on liner

Anyone use the rattle can spray on liner on their bumpers? How is it holding up and what did you do for prep? Just got my Rokmen in, the Besrk should be here in August and I was pondering spraying both with rattle can liner. Pics would be great. Thanks

it actually seems pretty durable and for 9 bucks a can, you can always touch up scratches with ease.

x2 Krylon fusion for the prep work washed with soap and water and then wiped them down with acetone. Did the fenders in April holding up great to the rocks and mud no chips or anything like that. If you get gas on them it stains it I have noticed that but looks great and it's cheap I used the Ultra Flat Black.

:2c:In my opinion, DO NOT USE DUPLICOLOR!!! I have used it on the bumpers of my wife's TJ and found it to be a terrible product. It chips, flakes, and is just all-around garbage. Her front bumper had to be stripped back down to bare metal and refinished, and her rear bumper had rusted bad enough because of the poor finish/seal of the duplicolor, that I had to replace it.

I since have had a great experience with Herculiner roll-on bedliner on my bumpers, sliders, fender flares, grill, and inside the tub.

I was going to herculine the front bumper, rear bumper, and tub but didnt know if it held up better on the bumpers than paint. Do you have pics?

personally after seeing what herculiner looks like in my tub after mud, snow, rain and how hard it is to clean i would not go the herculiner route for exterior

POR-15+Rustoleum Flat black

Semigloss black when mine are done cleans up easy has a little shine to it. I did my fenders in flat and they just never look clean...

Speed94 07-14-2010 03:46 PM

i think I'm going to rattle can it for now and if I don't like it, I'll do liner. I was more concerned about how easily the paint would chip off hence the liner
