Fr. Bumper Poll - Rokmen, Genright, Savvy, Cassidy Customs

Having the toughest time deciding on a bumper for Christmas. Down to these four choices:

Genright:
3/16" steel.
Clevis tabs
Bolt on fairlead mount
Option for weld on/bolt on hoops.
$400

Rokmen (Non-GT):
14" Steel
Clevis tabs
Bolt on Fairlead
Upper light tabs
Tig welded
$429 (+$35 Shipping)

Savvy:
I Believe: 3/16" Aluminum w/ reinforced underside
Bolt on stainless steel clevis tabs
Bolt on fairlead mount
16 lbs.
$350 (including shipping)

Cassidy's Custom:
3/16" Steel
Clevis tabs
Weld on fairlead mount
Radiator hoop (optional)
$315-$435 (and within picking-up distance)

Only pictures I have (minus hitch, stinger and braces):

All bumpers would be sent in bare steel/aluminum.
~DO NOT have plans to run a winch right now or in the near future~

I know its not your options but i would also look into JeepTubes.com high clearance bumper. I has saved my fenders a few hundred times.

Savvy. Light yet strong. Simple yet effective.

i like the savvy, its very minimalistic and very light. The strength of some of these bumpers is just ridiculous, to the point where you'll bend frame rails before damaging the bumper- almost makes them overkill IMO. Then again im running a warn with a stinger so call me hypocritical

If I knew exactly what I wanted I wouldn't be asking. And the other thread only included the two bumpers and was quite an old thread. Also, about the price, it's a Christmas present so I have a price range; not to mention I can't justify spending around $700 for a front bumper even if it is what I would like to have. It's down to these choices, if you think this thread is a waste, don't post.

I think "bumper" is stretching it a bit how about a shelve for my winch?

I say the custom. It incorporates all of the other bumpers features and includes the stinger and 2" front reciever! The Romken is my second choice FWIW.

If you're not planning on running a winch, I'd say keep your stock bumper, but trim down the sides.
If you must get one of these though, my choice is with Rokmen.
But if you are looking just for a plain bumper, this Pro Comp is actually pretty nice for $125 shipped. http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=9760
