Found a '99 TJ
Looks to be a better project than the ill '97 I was looking at. This one is clean, no off road miles, auto, cruise/tilt, two tops, 31" BFG M/T's, but is a 4 banger.
If it's drivable I'd run as is until the winter, then swap in a 6 cyl and work on the rest of the drivetrain. I'm pretty sure it's a Dana 30 fr, 35 rr combo, but anyone know what the gear ratio would be? 4.11's? can I use the same tranny with a 4.0L if it's the 999? Will a stock D35 with 4.11's hold up to a 4.0L with minor mods (intake/exhaust, 87 octane programmer, headers maybe if they don't tick) and 33/10.5-15 BFG MT's, or AT's?Thanks in advance, eh!

Or just live with the 4-banger - they ain't that bad. It should have 4.11 gears.
