Fog lights WON'T turn off... Now Highbeams wont come on!!!!
So i found a write up on here.(not sure by who) but it was detailed on how to fix a issue with the fog lights not turning off. well i followed the procedure and it worked for the fog lights.
NOW, when i put it all back together the highbeams stay on and wont turn off... I have managed to somehow get it to where they are off but wont come on. wondering if i should try to fix this or just go buy a whole new control cluster?
It may be the turn signal / light switch unit on the steering column. Pull the cover off and check to see if the plug has gotten hot.
It's better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool.
Nothing like a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling. I have a few.

i have already done that idk if i broke something when pulling it apart the turn singnal to fix the fog lights or if i didnt put back together right. I have looked at the diagram and pictures i took and it looks like i put it together just fine.
Your multifunction switch, the unit that operates lights and fog lamps, is probably fried, the wires inside get got and short out. At least that's my experience with those. More than twice already on a same Jeep.
buy each one seperate and its easy to just bolt them on.
