FOA Shocks

Hey so i need to get rid of my pro comps in the rear. I have been looking into FOA for both the price and performance of them. I haven't heard very much from these guys yet

For now until i outboard, i want to run 2.0x10" reservoir shocks in the rear.

Has anybody ran or run these shocks? how do you like the performance? how did you valve them? They give you the choices of "Zero, extra light, light, light/medium, medium, medium/firm, firm, and extra firm" for both rebound and compression.

I do a lot of both desert running and rock crawling, so I am running the fox 2.0x10" Reservoir shock in front, but i'm on a tight budget, so I was looking into FOA for the rear.

What do you guys think? Opinions?

Thanks

they're the "official shock of "King of the Hammers" ...how could you go wrong?

seriously though, i have no personal experience with them, but i know of a few people running FOA coilovers on their tacaomas and they've never had anything bad to say about them.

give them a try and give us some feedback.

The price of these shocks are incredibly low compared to companies such as King, Fox or Sway-away

I was just looking at the coilovers and they are 195 each for 2.0x10" - 2.0x14"!

I heard about these on Dezertrangers.com and how they are new and dont have the rep that these other companies have, so they're saying they "aren't able to perform as well" as the others do.

so I'm just asking around, most likely going with the 2.0x10" reservoir shocks for the rear (non coilvers)

I have them on my jeep.

Two comments.

If you are going to outboard at some time, buy shocks once. Especially if you are going to the expense of rebuildable shocks.

Second, the COs seem good for the price. I do wonder long term about parts availability. I also had to send one back in to be rebuilt, had not really ran it yet.
