Flex Cast Iron vs Flex Stainless ex Manifold

I will be cringing with ever bolt as I take out A previous owner installed a POS Banks exhaust manifold that now cracked. I am soaking the bolts with penetrating oil every night. Other “car” forums say cast iron is better because it won’t crack as easily. I don’t care as much about performance as I do reliability. Both manifolds below have the flex tube on 1 and 6. What is the general consensus of the Jeep forum advantages/disadvantage of cast Iron vs. Stainless?

The tubular steel one is fine. I've used the $65 Ebay ones myself with success, but have heard of those cracking, too. My guess is they all do unless it's the 2-piece factory one, but that can be expensive and custom.

For the price, durability, and even comes with a gasket, I use the Ebay ones.

Get an OEM 2000+ one and have the "Y" pipe made at an exhaust shop...

It was routed the same as an OEM 2000+ "Y" pipe. That one was/is on a 97...
