Flat towing an 06' TJ
What issues will I have flat towing an 06', 4.0, 6spd manual. I assume it's best to tow with the TC and Trany in neutral. What about the steering? Since it's only pull/push on the hitch I would think a class III would be fine on the pick-up.
I know it's not as good as a trailer but it's better than driving long distance with camping gear etc. or taking 2 vehicles.

tranny in a forward gear, TC in neutral, key ON (so the steering wheel isnt locked)
That is according the the manual. ..ofcourse if tis camping gear why nto tow a little trailer behind the TJ, or get one of the racks for it.
