Flat flares Xenon vs Bushwacker

I'm pretty set on getting a set of the new flat flares that have been coming out. For those of you who own them, any pros and cons on them? Anything you like or dislike on one or the other?

I chose and will again choose Xenon over Bushwacker.

I think the material is better.

Bushwacker claims that their material is flexible and will not crack. However, my experience was the opposite. Hence why I went with the Xenon's and I think they're a better product IMO.

Either way, if you order them now, or very soon off of 4wd.com you'll get a percentage off of your order and free shipping. So you'll save a lot off of your pricey order. Just thought I would let you know that if you're considering buying them soon.

I have the 4" Xeons flat flares. Don't know a thing about bushwacker though.

I am happy with the xeons.

I bought the 4" xenons not to long ago. I used the search button and found a ton of info. If you need 6" of coverage I would go with the bushwackers. There two piece mounting system seems like if could handle more abuse. Look for Jerrys thread on them. Any flare you get will fade. You can paint them, or I used Xenons suggestion and used 808 Protectant. It seems to work.

I have the Bushwacker flat flares and have not had a problem with them as of yet, it is my understanding the the flat flares are made from a different material then the old flares that are prone to cracking.
Here is the thread all about the Bushwacker flat flares

I love my 6" Xenon's. Coverage with 35's is great. No fading yet and they have taken alot of abuse. I've laid them hard into trees on both sides buckling the fenders and they have just popped back into shape with no cracks. You do need to use a UV protectant or just paint them. I do think the new Bushwacker flat flares do have a better light setup and mounting system. The lights on my Xenons were a PITA to mount in the fender. Seems like Bushwacker took a great flat fender setup (Xenon) and made it better.

I have owned a set of Xenons and have put on a few sets of the B Whackers. I personally think it is up to you. Look closely at all the pics you can and at other rigs locally that have them. Then just decide which you like better. From a distance, most can't tell them apart. Closer up, or if you are familiar with them, then you can tell the difference. But they both give the same general appearance.

Good luck with it......
