First big upgrade

hmmm, hmmm, hmmmm.... lol. I don't know what i want to get. I have a 02 wrangler apex. Its my daily driver but lil by lil im paving the way for offroad use. That won't be for atleast a few years. I have a hundred or so dollars to spend. But don't kno what to get. Any recomomendations? I was thinking fog lights...brush gaurd..*not a brush gaurd that covers the whole thing* i like the one from quadratec "olympic grille gaurd". Anyways. Whats a good upgrade for a daily driver? I already put a nice flip out stereo in.

A 2" Rubicon Express Budget Boost... otherwise, if you wheel it, you will want to armor up first and foremost.

Edit: Oh, just $100? Hmm.. won't get you a lot...

Tuffy products before soemthing gets stolen. 100 bucks isn't alot but it'll pick up their replacement glovebox and make you feel alot better. HTH

Get a set of front and back husky floor liners. They will keep you floor nice and dry in case you get rained on,take on any minor water or develop any leaks, which is rare because we all know Jeeps don't leak.

Wow another Apex owner! You don't run into many.

One thing I did that wasn't too hard on the wallet was seat covers. Not sure how you feel about the color of the Apex seats but I hated them.

I can also agree with the Husky floor liners.

And if you wanted you could always pull out the carpet and Herculine it. I lined my YJ myself and it turned out great.

If you have hard doors, arm rests, under $100.

Something else would be mirrors so you can run with the doors off. I bought the ones from jeepit.com, also under $100.

Save a little more and start buying skids first. I would start first with an oil pan skid, then replace the gas tank skid, then a new radiator and steering skid, then rockers. Only after that would I start thinking about other mods.

Sounds like a good down payment on a lift kit.

If you're more interested in getting in the dirt, I would go with a trail master 2" BB. or if you're dead set on getting those windshield lights, order some windshield light brackets (30.00) and a pair of Hella 500's. (70.00) that comes to a grand total of 100.00.

2" BB= 2" budget boost, called a budget boost because it's cheap and efficient for minor trail riding.

I think you should go out and wheel it stock. Save the $200 for any repairs you might need. You can use the experience to find out what you are needing for your area also.

They're pretty amazing even in stock form.
