Which fender flares.

I need a set of fender flares to cover my 33x12.50's. I was gonna just run my stock rubicon flares but I know I'll be the one guy that gets pinched by the law for $135. I've been looking at the Bushwacker Pocket style flares

or the Warn Trail Flares Someone was telling me one of these two flares can take hard abuse and bounce right back but I cant remember which one. I dont want to spend the money and have a cracked flare with the first rock or tree I brush against. If ya guys have any pics of these flares on your rig post them. Which one is tougher? Also, If there is a brand that is tough that I missed let me know. I need to buy asap.

I have the Warn 6" Extended flares and I love them. They also have the closest appearance to the stock flares IMO.

What does the law state in your area? Those things are expensive as heck and brittle when you wack them on a tree.

Are they flexable or hard plastic?

Both. They do flex which is why they have held up on the trails...but they aren't like flimsy or anything.

You might think about the $149 "Rugged Ridge" flares. They are textured plastic like regular TJ flares, not smooth like painted Rubicon flares. Here's a set of RR flares covering 35X12.50R16's on Moab wheels with Spidertrax wheel spacers:

They are very flexible, and at $149 painless to replace even if damaged on the trail.

Those look really nice and the price is pretty sweet... do they make different widths?

Omix-Ada makes them. There are only two sizes, 2.75" (regular TJ width) and 7". The pictures are the 7" size, good for a 12.5" tire width on a wheel with 3.75" BS, or (as in the photo) 5" BS less a 1.25" Spidertrax spacer. You can buy single flares if you damage one.

I have the EGR 6.5" flares and are pretty good as well, especially for the price. I only paid $100 off e-bay last year.

Nice, I'll check them out. I see you run the Anti-Rock also. I just installed mine and like it allot. How do you like yours?

Not my Jeep, it belongs to another ROF member. I run vanilla JKS "Quicker" discos, and I am awaiting the "Son of SwayLOC" dual-rate remote disco.
