Fan on high????? WTF

Greetings All,

My fan in my 05 rubi for some reason is stuck on high. It will
blow on high on the first 3 settings than shuts off when selector
is on the high setting..?? unless fiddled with than high on all
I just replaced the blower motor resister and it still has this
issue..
I did notice a clicking that came from the fan itself for a bout 10 min
2 weeks ago and I think it has been like this on high from that time
forward...
I had the AC on high and never noticed this till I went to use it on a lower
setting...
Any thoughts would be awesome

Fan speed switch damaged internally from being overheated?...

That was my next guess....
From what I have been told buy the stealership I will have to replace
all 3 because there is not just one switch for the 05 06 its the whole thing
and was discontinued from jeep. Not even a part number..
Its 174 is if I get it there..

Looks like its on high for me for a little while longer..

Theres at least one up on amazon at 118$. Probably still more then you want to spend, but still less then the dealership.

According to these guys you can use the earlier switch (’99-’04) with maybe slight modification & not get the whole panel.
