Extended Front Brake Lines Needed?

My current lift set-up is:

OME HD Kit + 3/4" Spacers, 1" MML, 1.25" JKS BL. I have been running this set-up for several years without a problem, but I just put on an RE adjustable front track-bar to finally re-center my front axle. Control arms are still stock.

RE claims their adjustable front track-bar will allow more wheel travel than the stock unit. How much I don't know, but I thought I read somewhere up to 30%.

Do I need to be worried about extending my front brake lines now that I should have more articulation? Anyone have experience running a similar set-up?

Thanks

Joe

You don't mention your lift height but probably not. The easiest way to know for sure is to jack the front of your Jeep up and then support it with 6-ton jackstands under the frame so the front suspension can droop fully. Then you'll know for sure.

You also need to disco the sway bar and remove the tire, jack up where the brake drum is to see full flex.
Or get a fork lift.

If you think you do need extended lines, the cheapest way is to go to local Autoparts store and get YJ front brake lines. Worked great for me.

Using YJ brake lines like Andy-WhiteTJ suggested will give you about 3" more length.

When you check to see if your current brake lines are long enough, don't forget to check with the wheel turned too.
