Experiences with upgraded headlights/Pics?
Okay... I'm just tired of driving next to these newer rides who's eyes illuminate the road soooooo much nicer than mine.
Not to mention the fact that I happen to like [the looks of] the blue tint some of them have. I'd like opinions of those who've upgraded... I know the Sylvania's are popular and I read/saw recently a TJ like mine with the Flat faced Delta bars... What have you got? Whats the improvement (or lack of)? Any issues with overheating? Wire melt? Where? How much? You know, the usual.... Oh... and pics - pleaseThanks in advance people!

Yes, IPF housings and IPF Fatboyz FTW! It doesn't get any better then that. Oh and no blue tint bulbs are allowed in Jeeps.

I use the Delta Quad Bar lights. Not the expensive HID versions though. They work a lot better than OEMs and have that slight blue tint to them while they are off. When they are on though they are a nice bright white. Install was easy, they came with a black trim ring, but I didn't use it.

I got a set off of ebay for about the price that you would pay at the parts store
for the regular lights. They are 55w/60w bulbs and show white on low and a blue tint on high. Here is a link for similar ones. ![]()

Another vote for the IPF lenses with IPF Fatboys. I've been really happy with them, but make sure you get them aimed correctly or else other drivers will be flashing you.

IPF and Fatboys here. I don't have pictures, but the difference is literally night and day. I have not had any harness or switch issues either.
I have spent a lot of money on my Jeep and this has to be the very best money I have spent.

I agree with Elwood. I have the IPFs and Fatboys in my two TJ's and haven't had a bit of trouble in the two years they have been installed....no wiring changes either. I have a set of AutoPals buckets and those european dichromatic yellow h4 bulbs in my Willys......not nearly as nice as the IPF's.

Another vote for IPF and fatboys, I upgraded the harness and it makes them even better. I rean them for 6months with out the harness. I agree that you need to adjust them or you will have people flashing you
