Exhaust Manifold Help

Anyone had any experience with this Direct Automotive manifold? It's got some crazy bellows welded into the outer two header tubes and I'm wondering if that's a good idea.

I've got a cracked manifold and I've got to fix it myself on the cheap. Any other suggestions?

Forgot to mention that it's a 4.0L.

well as a matter of fact yes I have seen a bunch of them....all of which have cracked I might ADD..the bellows joints are supposed to prevent the cracking issue, but those crack at the bellows joints because that is the weak spot where they are integrated with the pipes....it is a temporary fix and may hold for awhile, but you will be back in the same situation again...it does not pay to go cheap on this solution!

Looks nice but looks can be deceiving. It sounds a little cheep.
I would pony up and spend the money for either a new factory manifold or better yet .. install a Banks header. Their only a little more than a normal header. The header will provide more HP and combined with a good Cat-Back Exhaust, even more. Not to mention a nice new sound.

If you decide on the Header check out Red Rock 4x4
You must ask for the Jeep Forum discount by either phone or email.

Seconds on the "save for a banks". I thought mine was leaking, but really it is just the fact that it's quieter up front and I can hear my noisy valvetrain.!

Bolts Right On?

Will the Banks header bolt right on without buying a cat back system?
