Exhaust manifold cracked 2.5 4 cyl.

I have a cracked exhaust manifold on my 97' SE 4 cyl.....Does anyone know of a writeup on replacing it? I also replaced the manifold twice on my 99' sport TJ and it cost me $350 labor each time....So I am trying to avoid that huge labor cost.....I see the 2.5 4 cyl cast iron manifolds on E-bay for around $40.....Some have a heat sheild and and EGR port and O2 sensor hole on them but I am pretty sure the 97' SE 4 cyl does not need any of those options.......Has anyone done one recently? It is a total nightmare to do?....Let me know if anyone has any experience with this?.............

Tons of people have experience, there are tons of threads on this. Here is a write up that I will refer to when I install mine soon.

Jeep may have fixed the problem on yours (2000) but, if not, then good luck, I just got my new one in the mail two days ago (I ordered the one at the top of the page) and it looks pretty good. For $120.00 the price is right.

for my 99' sport 4.0 I bought a manifold off E-bay with the expansion joints for about $65 shipped to my door....I went to chrysler and got the gaskets for another $20......It has been holding up fine for a year now with no cracks yet.....The E-bay seller even offered a lifetime warranty..........Now I have to decide which cast iron manifold for my 4 cylinder 97' SE.........
