Evap Canister 97 TJ ??

First, I have this round plastic drum like thing on the driver's side in the engine compartment. I think this is the evap canister. Or if not then what is it?
Second, squirrels have chewed some wholes in the plastic tubes coming out of it. Will this impact any thing?

it sounds like you are talking about the e canister and as far as the lines get some 5/16 or 3/8 rubber fuel line hose and cut out the bad spots and splice it together and it will be fine till you can replace it

You thought it was worth resurrecting a four year dead thread for that comment?

My 18 year old daughter has a phobia of squirrels. Absolutely true. Maybe she opened a JF account without telling me.

And your contribution of "Then kill the squirrels" added so much value to the thread?
