engine swap with jeep computer questions

alright, I've got a ford 5.0 gt 40 engine in my TJ, running the mustang computer for the engine, and using the jeeps computer and sensors for the gauges, the problem is the gauges are not ready correctly. I did remove all the unused wiring, and I figured I removed something I shouldn't have. the gauges randomly work, inaccurately, all of them, so I'm pretty sure its in the wiring. Anyone else done an engine swap and run into this, any fixes?

Most guys who do this swap run all new gauges. The factory gauges get their reading from ECU. Autometer makes a bunch of sensors/readers/and sending units that may work. I think by time your done though it will be easier although not cheaper to add your own gauges

While I agree the aftermarket gauges would be easier, I would really rather have the factory ones work. I retained the tj computer to run them
