Engine Skid Plate, Or Oil Pan Skid?
Is the Full Engine Skid plate worth the extra $100 over the plain old oil pan skid?
'97 Forest green. ~6" total lift, 8.8, etc. 36" TSL's, winch. You get the drill.
To me, all you need in that area is an oil pan skidplate. In all my wheeling, I'm not even sure my oil pan skidplate has ever really even taken a serious hit... as oppposed to the rest of my Jeep's armor.

I thought the same thing until I slid off a rock and dented my oil pan! I thougt I could never hit it so I did not worry about protecting it, well I was wrong!
RE 3.5 lift, 1" BD/MT lift, 33.12.50 MTRs, Teralow, SYE, Detroit locker, Eaton E locker, Dana 44 front, Ford 8.8 rear, warn winch, full roll cage, Fuel cell.
