?? on engine light turning on
Well, I went off roading this weekend and right before I was going to drive back home, I filled the jeep with gas and then noticed the engine light turned on. I rechecked to make sure the gas cap was on correct.
At first, the light was blinking and now it just stays on. What do you guys think it is?

Well, the light only turns on after the problem has been reported so many times.
Get the computer code. And see what the problem is:http://www.jeepz.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Howto&file=reference_c omputercodes To get it, I think you just turn the key to on 3 times. |

I had that problem once last year. Others had that problem too; the light would come on even though there are no computer codes indicating any problems. All you do is disconnect your battery for about 5 minutes. Reconnect it and see if the light remains on. If it does, you might have a problem.
