Engine Code P0463 ANY KNOWN FIX YET?

I've had this engine code for probably 2 years now. My jeep runs just fine, but it'd be nice to get it gone. I can just quote myself from the last time i posted about this issue..

Now, if i dont ever let it sit there and idle, the code will NOT come on. What happens is after i burn through a few gallons, the code goes away.

When the light comes on, the gas gauge reads zero. I then turn the jeep off, and the gas gauge reads full again, but check engine light is on. Any one know how to fix this?
I've just been living with it because it doesn't affect the drive ability at all, but i would really like to get this fixed.

P0463 Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too High. Fuel level sensor input above acceptable voltage.

That's it, there may be a cheaper one available. You'd have to check the parts houses but I'm doubtful. Probably better off going with the Mopar unit. I don't suppose you have any warranty left on your Jeep?

You'll save some cash doing this yourself. It isn't overly complicated, but it is a pain in the ***
