You should replace both of them at the same time if they haven't been replaced before.

That is the downstream 02 sensor which is located right in the cat converter.

The part # for a dealer replacement is 56041213AB and it lists for $95.30. If you can get a discount, price will be around $63.44.

Have you tried clearing the code and see if it comes back?

Tried clearing the code and keeps coming back. Seems a bit pricey, is it suggested I replace both of them? Is there a place online that has them for less than the dealer?

Best place I have found for OEM sensors is Mopar Parts for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep: MoparPartsAmerica

$63 is a decent deal, but yea, $90+ is getting a little expensive.

An 02 sensor from Autozone is $75 and it will be a piece of junk Bosch sensor.

I would look it up at Mopar Parts America (the link provided above by biffgnar) , print the page, and take it to your local dealer. Tell them you want an 02 sensor for $63 or you are ordering it online.

I'm not sure if that one will work.

The stock downstream sensor is a heated sensor, so it uses a 4 wire connection.

I agree the Bosch are junk, NAPA carries the TGK sensors which work well (and they may be the ones to make the oem)

Friends don't let Friends run Bosch

They have different part numbers, but coincidentally the same price.

Upstream 02 sensor
56041212
List price $95.30

Downstream 02 sensor
56041213AB
List price $95.30

Just purchased both sensors from the dealer, took them a printout from moparpartsamerica and they gave me a discount. Just went under the jeep to locate both sensors, and i only see one it is located just after the exhaust manifold. Where is the other sensor?
