Eaton E locker wiring help?

I bought a used E locker for my 8.8. and can't figure out the push button switch wiring. It has 3 prongs. one for ground, one for 12 volt ignition and one for 12 volt battery. Anyone have a pic or care to go look at there switch and let me know. There is nothing in the instructions that says what goes where on the switch.

I checked that out but it's still hard to tell which pin is which. I'd really like to see a diagram or picture of the back of the switch.

That is a diagram of the circuit as to how it should be wired. Is there 1A, 2A & 4B on the back/side of the switch? If so plug in according to the diagram.

You shouldn't have non-switched battery power going to the switch. You should have ignition switched power in (1A), power out to the locker relay(2A), and a ground (4B-for the LED in the switch).

The relay should have switch power in, fused battery power in, a ground, and power out to the locker.

Assuming you are using a standard Bosch style automotive relay the relay connections would be:
30 - fused battery power
85 or 86 - power from the switch terminal 2A
86 or 85 - ground
87 - power out to locker harness black wire with red stripe
87a - not used

The black wire from the locker harness just needs to be grounded.

Be sure to use the harness and connectors that came with the locker, because it looks like there is a diode already built in to it (probably in the vehicle side of the harness inside of the plug).

Hope that helps...

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.
