an easy question

i have heard alot of talk about a broken clockspring affecting cruise control, air bags, and horn at the same time.........but what if the horn is the only component not working? is it possible that the clockspring is still responsible?

Definitely. Everything electrical on the steering wheel has to go thru the clockspring, so it's worth checking. If you've already checked the rest of the circuit like the fuse/relay, it could also be the switch... but that's part of the airbag cover so it's even more expensive than the clockspring.
