E-brake relocating OMG bad idea!!!!! (update)

I just got a police center consul for my jeep but it fits right over the e-brake. What would be a good way to relocate it. I have to pull it up all the way to work. So I did not know if i could put a simple pull handle or if any one had any better suggestions.

Ok here is the update I decided to "simply" move where it mounted, and put it to the right of the shifter. So I go to the junkyard and get an e-brake cable from a JY and the cable moves freely so Get it have and try hooking up the end under the jeep and I can not get it to connect (same fitting) the e-brake was just to hard to move, I ended up getting one of my heavy straps on it and pulling it and that barley helped but I got it!
Then to get the part in the cab attached I tried pulling but it would not budge, I put my strap on it and no success. So today I was determined to get it done. I decide to take the drums off so the brakes can easily move, well it took over an hour to get one tire off!!!! Every lug not on both sides was stuck and they have not been on for more that 5 months! So I get all those off after fighting with it and get the e-brake set up disconnected.
I try to attach the handle and it barley moves!!! I set it up for i can put my 200 lbs into it and pull I get it and my gf puts the screw in and bolts the handle to the bracket. It is nearly impossible to pull but it is not connected to the floor yet hopefully that will help.

This whole process has been brutal and is not done yet. How hard is it to replace a stud? I would suggest not doing this the way I did it!!!!

Maybe not the answer your looking for but Toyota Pickups(80's, 90's) had a pull/push style ebrake mounted under the dash. You could mount it under the dash and use it as your ebrake.

Ya my dad has this type of e-brake I was thinking of that but there are not many Toyota pick ups in the junk yard.

At work I was Thinking of ways to use all 7 switches on it.
I was thinking:
Fog lights
windshield mounted fog lights
"take down lights" on top of the windshield
"bed" lights
front interior lights
reverse lights
not sure what for this one
ya I know lots of lights but I was not sure what else to put, Lockers maybe?

I will get pictures when it is light out, I have to put my radios in it too.

No, I like how it looks in there. She may have the jeep for a while and I would like to keep working on it while she has it, not dismantling it. I think moving it would be best so when I need it.

Maybe take the e brake off of an old Cherokee or Comanche that had the brake to the left of the clutch. See if you can get the brackets for the bottom of the Jeep also and run those cables into the front of your existing e brake bracket instead of your current handle being connected there.

Is that console even for a Wrangler? Or did it come out of something else and just happen to fit? I've never seen one look like that and the arm rest looks like it is too far back.

Due respect, 'cause I know you're enamored of your police console, but if all you are gaining is a place to mount switch gear, there are other places for switches.
It's a hell of a sight easier to move wiring than to reroute your E-brake setup. Particularly with a stick, you want the E-brake to work. Correctly.
Any chance of mounting the console further aft, so you can still access the E-brake?

What is a line lock?

the console would not work further back and I like the look it gives better than the gap in the middle. I barley ever use my e-brake

The console is out of a police car. The arm rest is actually in a good spot.

linelocks are used in drag racing mostly.
you step on the brakes to hold the wheels, then you activate the linelock and it holds the fluid at the wheels to keep them 'braked'
