I find newspaper seems to absorb the water without even touching it. If I have a little bit of water I just literally toss a few sheets of newspaper into the Jeep and when I remove it it's very damp and the carpets are dry enough to get out on their own.

Not to hijack this thread. But on a note of preventive maintenance. Are there any fuses i should pull incase the jeep is going to get soaked? Ie, does the cruize control have a fuse?
