Drying out

I'm sure this has been covered, but it's Friday and I'm kind of lazy.

Is there any good way to dry out the interior of the Jeep if it got caught in a downpour with the top down? I could take some towels to it, but is there anything more effective?

Thanks!

You need to rip out the carpet and Durabak the whole interior. For now use a Shopvac.

take out the carpet temporarily, get as much out of seats as you can with towells roll up window's but leave cracked so the moisture can escape. Some have used a small fan or heater and an extension cord all night. Then febreeze and replace carpet

Has anyone ever tried letting the jeep idle for a good while with the heat on high and set to defrost. Come back 30 minutes later to an oven and it be pretty much dry? The defrost will remove the moisture in the air.

Havent tried it myself yet, I normally just sit on a towel until it dries or the next sunny day comes along and leave it open.

Towels and a shop vac to get up as much as the water as possible. Also, a fan helps. Letting the Jeep run or going for a onger drive helps...the floor get pretty warm. If you have AC, you could try what Divinitous suggests.
