I made a drop bracket for the track bar, hell I had to modify the track bar. I honestly think I need to drop it some more. Think of the whole thing being reversed, the tie rod is still behind the drag link.

Check out the last five or so posts in my build thread (linked in my sig...)

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfuction or uninstall themselves at any time.

the track bar/position and bumptops need to be considered before jumping into the flip, it won't work with currie's new hd track bar, unless you don't care if they run into each other... then be particular of the position of the adjustment buckles.

just an example of a relocated re track bar via a clayton style frame mount... which is sitting on 2" bumpstops with the springs removed, obviously they can't pass by one another.

this one is a currie track bar sitting on 2" bumpstops with currie steering links, stock length JKS adjustable CA's.

bump for my original question, and one more

Will I experience a dead spot from this mod? I feel like I shouldn't since your not changing your draglink location, therefore leaving the trackbar and draglink on the same plane as stock, but when I brought this mod up amongst a few buddies one said that I will get bumpsteer... this didn't make sense to me.

I also found a write-up where someone flipped a v8zj Tie-rod over the knuckle and also 180* from its original mounting location. Since the v8zj rod has a bend in it the swaybar mount did not have to be relocated.
