Yup the U-Joints are different and wont work. That is why without the Rubi transfer case you need a custom Driveshaft. Or you may be able to get a conversion U-joint but I don't know.

I think this is what you need. You can call Northridge to be sure.
Your driveshaft uses 1310 ujoints and I think the Rubi yoke needs the 1330.

Yup that is what I was thinking. Good job Jim. See Teddy you at least know enough to come to the right place to ask questions. Even if you do get bashed about a bit. Could be much worse, you could be going to Pirate 4x4!!

hehe i never been to pirate hopefully never will have too!!

today i took my car to a local shop and they owner said if you continue to drive it with this setup and how you installed all this you will be breaking things left and right and my front dana is bent so that has to be tossed or if any one wants to buy it. and im also forced to sell my rear 44!!! i hate my life price check one a bent front dana44 and a rear 44(disk brakes) and my build comes to a hault until i sell the rubi cab/w.e left and figure something else out

Teddy a diff can be straightend you know. I know that most factory ones arent perfectly straight anyway. But alot of good rear end shops can true a axle housing. I know most muscle car guys get this checked and fixed before building a rear for a high power car. Just something to check into.

Sorry can't help you there. I have never had to have it done Yet (knock on wood) But you should be able to call around and find someplace that can do it and get a estimate. Just a thought
