Drilling thru the hard top?

Anybody mounted a Thule Tracker II setup with the TK13 mounts to their hard top?

http://www.backcountryracks.com/index.aspx/store/super_racks/custom_installs

Easy to install?

Any cracks in the plastic developing?

Any water leaks?

I'm going with either this or the Thule 300 gutter mounts (my buddy has this on his TJ). I've only used my Thule 987xt once, its a pain in the butt.

Just hauling ski's and snowboards, maybe some camping gear, nothing heavy.

Dont suggest a Wilderness rack or something that mounts to the Jeep itself. I'm not adding anymore weight.

Put fender washers on the inside to spread the load of the bolt. You can get a sealant called LifeCaulk or 3M 101. These are marine sealants that arn't permanent and seal well.

Wish I could help with this one...

Thanks for the Link... I've got all the parts for the Yakima Track rack laying on the floor here, ready to install on my hard top... The link gave me some great pictures of some installed...

Thanks Again

I was going through the dilemma over this last week. Luckily 4wheelparts were having a great sales on SmittyBilt SRC roof rack so I went with that. It can be completely reversed and no drilling. That was my reasoning. I got it for under $280 shipped.
