Double thump.

Have 2004 TJ, automatic trans. Im getting a "double thump" when Im braking. Thought it was the tranny but Jeep dealership said "no" and it might be the result of the 2 inch suspension lift. This doesnt happen all the time, however once it starts it wont quit until Ive shut down for a few hours. Know it's not much to go on but if anyone has any ideas Im all ears...or eyes.

Thats just it...cant quite narrow it down. I thought/felt it was in the transmission. Since its an automatic I thought it might have to do with with it not gearing down at the right rpm's and then just before you come to a complete stop you feel a double thump. Then I thought, because of the lift, I had u-joint issues. And yep...it's like that. It will stop after sitting for a few hours.
