Door Lock Transfer

I've searched and I'm not finding a straight answer on this. Are the lock cylinders interchangeable between half doors and full doors? I can find plenty of threads about how to remove them, but everyone says to go to a locksmith and have them re-key the cylinder. Can I take the key cylinder out of my half door and put it in a full door?

Dave

I'm planning on trading with someone. Just trying to find out before we both pull our doors apart.

Yes. When I traded mine we swapped locks with no issues.

Yes on the door lock cylinders being interchangeable, but the 97-02 tailgate lock cylinders will not interchange with the 03-up lock cylinders.

In case anyone else was wondering, it's confirmed. The key cylenders are interchangable.
