Don't Rubicons come with...

I thought all Rubis came with DANA 44s as standard. I saw this on the Denver CL, and the guy says he bought it for his Rubi: DANA 44 Rear Axle Housing Jeep Wrangler TJ New - $400 (Lafayette)

Rubicon's do come standard with front and rear Dana 44's. That person either didn't actually have a Rubicon or didn't know what their Rubicon came with.

400 for a new bolt in D44 is a pretty good deal. Do you know if it is a rubi 44 with the locker? If so then than that is an even better deal.

Ohh ok, but see read carefully. It is ONLY the housing. So that should mean there are no axle shafts, r&p, etc. You can buy an empty D44 housing for 600-700 bucks from the dealer, but you'll have to add a carrier, ring and pinion, and shafts etc. 400 is discounted, but it won't be a complete "working" bolt in so to speak.

You read better than I do. I missed that part.
