does warn make good bumpers
I like the look of the warn rock crawler front bumper but I've heard it is pretty weak and not fully boxed. I'm a bit OCD so I'd like to pick a quality company and get both front and rear bumpers from them (as well as skid plates and winch if I go warn or skid plates and lockers if I go ARB, etc.)

Bumper
I went with ARB front & rear on my TJ and added a Warn 9.5ti winch. I spent a lot of time looking at bumpers and liked these the best. It gives a nice clean look without being the focal point of the vehicle. The back bumper is very functional.

i love my warn front bumper and in terms of quality, the powder coat was crap but i just spray it with some rustoleum once a year.
I have used it for recovery many times and it has help up well. i also think it is a great looking bumper a

I like mine. I have not really hit it on anything, but it is 1.5 years old and my powder coat is in great condition.

G/F bumped into a concrete pole in a parking lot = zero damage to the bumper or Jeep. Then I hit a 12 point buck last fall and without that bumper I can tell you that the damage would have been very $$$$. I would have needed a new bumper, grill, hood, LF fender, not to mention a radiator, and AC work. Instead I had to replace a broken fog light and remove all the hair from the bumper. Yes the powder coat sucks, but the bumper is solid!

I just got in an accident about a month ago with my Warn front bumper. Some lady hit me on the side of the bumper going about 15 mph and the only damage to the jeep was a small scratch on the powder coat of the bumper. The other car that hit me got really messed up. The Warn is plenty strong in my opinion.

Even though I hesitate to trust a Tar Heel fan, I think I'll check out that bumper.
I bought tube bumpers right after I got my Jeep (sigh), and now every bumper thread turns into an opportunity to upgrade. |

Bumper is beautiful and matches the Jeep well compared to some other rather clumsy looking bumpers out there.
It's not fully boxed, but the quality is very good and it's beefy. I would not be afraid to get backed into or something of that sort with these. Powder-coating on mine is nice, but I plan on getting them Line-X'd eventually anyways.
