Does 97 TJ have Camshaft Position Sensor?
Went in to order a Camshaft Position Sensor today and they said my jeep didn't have one, however I've read and been told about them on here. Anyone have some input?
I believe it is referenced as the "pickup" at the auto parts store. I just put a new one on mine today along with the crankshaft position sensor. The "pickup" is located under the distributor cap. It cost me about $35.00
Exactly. Remove the distributor cap and underneath the round plastic shield inside is the camshaft position sensor... that some call as spdrmn44 said, a pickup.
When you have a choice, buy American made.
