Disassembly of hinges?
Is it possible to disassemble the hinge? I would like to get the windshield, door, and hood hinges powder coated.

yes, they are just held in by torx bits, however, realigning doors is not always the most fun...

Welcome to the forums!
Assuming TJ windshield and hood hinges are assembled the same as YJ hinges, there is a pin that could be knocked out. Theoretically. But then you would run the risk of scratching the coating when you try to reassemble. You probably won't get that pin to move anywhere without some heat either. If you are looking to go black powder coated, how about these: http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?pid=50477 http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?pid=50476 Everything else you could just have powder coated. O yeah, might be interested in these too: http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?pid=50478
