Dipstick

Where is the Transmission dip stick in a 2001 TJ? Transmission is standard.

Oil dip stick is left side of engine and marked OIL or 710 if handle is upside down.My wife was a blonde.

I know where the oil dipstick is, but can't locate the transmission dipstick.

there's no dipstick for a manual transmission. only for automatics.

Manual transmission has no dipstick like an auto.You have a manual transmission gear lube check bolt underneath on the transmission.Here you go.

Okay. Thanks for the information. One more though, do I have a NV3550 transmission or the AX-15. My year is '01 TJ stock.

According to the TJ specs sticky you have the NV3550.

Actually, it's on the right side of the engine. Was your wife also dyslexic?
