different yoke size on NV241 Rock-Trac?
Just picked up a Rubicon t-case for super cheap!!! super super stoked! Anyway I have searched and searched and just cant wait any longer for Advanced Adapters to email me back. Anyone know if my stock shafts will bolt right up to a Rubi case. I know the rear has a that weird flange thing. I think the yoke size is a bit larger than the 1310 stlye, i think 1330.
Looking for an easy, but correct way to bolt this bad boy in!!! 4:1 here I come!! ![]()

it is different yoke size, but you can go to NAPA and get a 1310/1330 ujoint. since you have a 97 it will be a tight squeeze, the +03 belly pan has a clearance bend in the pan, also the connector for the 4wd light is different and maybe the speed pickup is different. I am not sure if the speedo will work on a 97

no one else knows anything?
I found some more info, I think i can use some stuff from a 249 t-case, like the speedo gear and 4x4 light. I dont really need the light. Do I ask for just a 32 spline out put yoke for a 1310 style yoke? any1?

put the same tcase in mine and had to get the drive shafts out of a rubi-----but I also put the rubi axles in so that may be why mine didn't fit. anyway- good luck you will absolutely love the rocktrack---super-crawl! the only other thing that won't link up is the 4x4 light when the tcase is engaged----I'm looking for an adapter for that b/c it's hard to tell when I'm in 4hi sometimes w/o the light. The speedo gears are fine and right on the money. Let me know if you figure out a way to adapt the 4x4 light when you get everything installed.

with a locker in the front I absolutyl know when its in 4wd no matter low or high. I read somewhere that the speedo gear plug doesnt plug in right. do you have any pics of your set up? Also did this t-case go into your "signature" jeep? a 200 tj? I think they belly pan is a bit different but i could be wrong. there was also some concern with the t-case being larger and sitting on the tranny mount.
cant you jst splice the wires for the 4x4 light?

yes, the tcase went into the 2000 tj. Due to my 3inch body lift, the original tcase was dropped and I have 1inch spacers on the skid. This might have helped me to clear the case b/c it does appear to be quite larger than the np231. Don't know if it would have cleared otherwise. I will try to get a picture on here tomorrow. The speedo plugged right in with no modifcation. I'll try the splice on the light to see If i can get that fixed----I only engage the air lockers on steep/loose climbs with ledges so on the flat stuff, it's hard to tell without the light if I'm in 4wd---also need to adjust my shifter b/c 2wd and 4wd are too close and I have to shift it just right to hit 4wd. If I shift back to neutral and then try to engage 4hi it usually goes right on through b/c they are so close. Because of the new tcase, 4lo is strictly for crawlin and i'm using 4hi on the trails much more than I used to. But you can't beat the 4to1 in low for crawling big obstacles.

have any of those pics? I took the plu and wire off the end of the rear out put shaft case. thats the speedo right? it did not plug right in to the one on my 231. also this is a magnetic style? not an actualy speedo "gear". or am i mistaken and this is something else? I know 2002 and 97 have some differences. please let me know if you get those pics.

Just a thought... You could talk to Jesse @ Highangledriveline.com he might be able to help you with the Rubi-yoke or driveshaft.

thanks, sad to say he told me he did not have what I needed
. man i thought just about any custome driveshaft place would have them. I think I might be in luck and a drivetrain place close to my house where I will be doing the swap will have what I need. thanks

well major issues on my install looks like the tranny mount hits the new HUGE t-case. I will have to put a spacer in btw the mount with longer bolts. then more issues with the skid plate being too high up the the tub making the linkage get too tweaked and the case hits the tub. so....I think i will put me old t-case drop to make it not hit, then summer time put a body lift on it so i can get rid of the rediculous t-case drop. i just dont have to time to do the BL right now.
can anyone tell me if this makes sense? LOL im talking out of my ***** but i think i know what im doing. learn as I go and this is my DD for school which is 3 hrs away. hahah and this is my spring break!! i should be having fun right? well I know i will when im done. ok i think im talking to myself ![]()
