First time Jeep owner, 01 Wrangler Sport 4.0L with 53000 miles. I've had it for about 2 weeks and wanted to change all the fluids to make sure it's running top notch. So today I did a bit of work and wanted to make sure I used all the right stuff.
I've been doing searches for awhile now and think they are all correct, but a definitive answer will let me sleep better. :-)
Not really worried about my engine oil, but is the following okay?
D30/D44 I used Valvoline Durablend 85-140W ( I live in FL and might tow a small boat in a few years) Does the front 30 not have as much volume as the rear 44? Certainly seemed that way.
Transfer case (NP231 I think) I used Valvoline ATF+3
Transmission 5 speed manual (NV3550 I think) I used Penzoil Synchromesh
I'm know some folks around here may prefer other brands, but that's what was available at my local auto parts stores. So do I have the right parts indicated for my year and do all the fluids look good?
Thanks as always!
