I'd run that, the most important pattern to get right would be the drive side.

If you mix in a touch of gear oil with the marking compound it makes the pattern come out cleaner.

As in too deep? This is my first rebuild. I just don't want the rear end grenading on me. I I lose a few thousand miles of function that's ok. I plan on swapping axles to stronger units by the end if the year.

I seem to not get the mixture right. But with time I am sure I will get it down. I new the drive drive side is most important so this looks runnable? Everything is set cherry right now. Getting backlash and pinion preload has been getting easier now lol. Obviously. If you look at Yukons instructions it didn't look perfect either, maybe I am over thinking it?
