Dead Heater

Starting yesterday my heater blower randomly cuts out. If I turn it off and turn it back on everything's fine. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

have you checked the connector that plugs into blower? may be loose

I haven't checked that, I have no idea where it is. Sorry I'm not that knowledgeable. Any other ideas??

look under passenger side dash may be something in that range loose, as for blower connection im not sure, another thing is pull HVAC controls and see if loose connector in there

Mine does this too. It was the switch that controls the air direction (far right switch). On mine there is a three prong plug on the side of the switch, it is melted and burnt up. When I get the part no. from the stealership, I will post nos. and price. If it comes down to it, I'll just solder the wires directly to the switch.

mine melted the wires connecting to the vent selector switch too........when i pulled mine apart the green and black wires were toast.........you have to replace the vent mode switch....its about $25 at the stealer.......you can't put new connectors on and then plug into the old switch........the heat screws them up something horrible.............let me know what you guys find.....

Flush your heater core.I've seen alot of issues out of them.Check wiring like everyone else said too.
